Colorful Ice Decoration

I found this idea in Family fun magazine.  I made ice cubes with 2-3 drops of food coloring in each, used blue and green.  I put them in the freezer until they were solid.  I filled up a pan 2/3 full of water and put it outside for an hour.  I then added the ice cubes and everything froze together.  They look similar to path stones which look pretty in the snow.

Bookmaking

I enjoy attending museum after-hour events.  In one activity I made a simple book for listing New Year's Resolutions.  My resolution is to have more fun!  I made two books.  One was sent to my blogging partner as a birthday card.  :-)   Below are the instructions.  ~ JM
